The Roots of Our Community

Driving the same few miles daily through Chadwicks, New York, I reflect and wonder about the importance of this area. I think about all the special people who were born, raised and nurtured here on these few streets that make up our hamlet of Chadwicks. Unlike some of my family who have traveled all over the United States and farther, I spend most of my time locally. Growing up I recall saving a poster which read “If you can't do big things, do small things in a big way!” I think that was pretty much sums up my life journey thus far.

The history of Chadwicks is important; important enough to preserve. And this book, The Roots of Our Community, is my contribution to help ensure we do so. I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I enjoyed writing it. Thank you for your interest. - Connie
